I have been part of m3’s team of consultants ever since the company was founded in 2009. After joining the team as a consultant, I was quickly given opportunities to grow - now I am a manager in the field of Transformation & Sourcing. I was involved in many exciting projects for different customers along the way and was able to depend on the support of my colleagues’ within the company and the entire m3 team throughout.
Since a healthy work/life balance is very important at m3, they not only made it easy for me to take parental leave after my son was born in 2013, they also made it easy for me to rejoin the team afterward. m3 even helped me during my (demanding) search for child care in Munich. On the other hand, as part of the msg group we also have the option of flexibly financing our child care.
As a result, I have been able to resume my position as a manager at m3 since returning to professional life. Thanks to the generous policies governing work hours and work location, I have been able to be a full member of on-site customer projects ever since my first day back. And anytime my family life needs a little more attention, my superiors always welcome me with an open ear and compassion so that we can find a solution that works for everyone.
In summary: Life as a successful manager in a consulting firm is possible for mothers too! My employment at m3 is the perfect example.
